The Challenge

The team at Flexilabels were ready to take the business to new heights. Not only did they want to increase sales across the board, they wanted to appeal to new markets, placing an increased emphasis on the retail sector in particular.

Although the ambition - and the products - were there, the company’s website wasn’t. Technical issues ultimately limited the number of conversions the site could generate, making it hard for the business to expand. Website issues aside, the business also had to reach more potential customers if it was to grow.

The Solution

Achieving Flexilabels’ goals required a carefully coordinated, multi-channel marketing approach. In addition to restoring the website to full health and refreshing its look and feel, we recommended SEO and paid advertising campaigns to grow the firm’s customer base.

The SEO campaign would focus on improving the website’s search engine rankings, exposing it to a far greater number of potential customers than ever before - while the paid ad campaign would utilise a combination of Google and Microsoft Ads to drive traffic to the site and generate additional revenue. Once the plan was agreed upon, we set to work. The results speak for themselves…

Design Details

After a series of workshops with the Flexilabels team, we identified a gap between the brand’s current market position and where it wanted to be. To reflect the company’s growth ambitions and renewed focus on the retail market, we formulated a new brand identity: simple, clean and effective. The new logo mark even included a subtle nod to the label printing business, the ‘a’ and ‘b’ resembling a roll of labels being fed into a printer.

To accompany this fresh logo design, we created a comprehensive suite of collateral, ranging from stationery to staff uniforms, interior signage and even brand guidelines. Now, the Flexilabels brand is always presented consistently, no matter where it’s being used.

To inform the website redesign, we completed a CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) audit. This identified any weak points in the website’s functionality - weak points that could make or break a customer’s shopping experience and prevent them from placing an order or getting in touch for a quote. Once they had the information they needed, our design team developed a new look for the site that was in keeping with Flexilabels’ updated branding.

Marketing Details

We kicked off Flexilabels’ marketing campaign by optimising its Google and Microsoft Ads accounts. Following a comprehensive audit, we identified several areas for improvement and began making alterations. These included creating more specific, targeted ads for each product, appealing directly to customers’ needs and addressing their specific pain points.

The SEO campaign utilised a similarly strategic approach, beginning with a thorough audit of the site’s current content and its search performance in relation to competitors. Following this initial research phase, we began making technical SEO improvements to the site and creating new content for both the blog and landing pages, which together resulted in rankings improvements across the board.

Working in unison, the SEO and paid ads campaigns not only drove more users to the Flexilables site, but converted them into loyal, returning customers, helping the business achieve its growth targets.
